Ibanez Destroyer II, extremely rare. Worth over 1000 dollars if it was in brand new condition (which it certainly isn't ). The one I recieved from my band's drummer yesterday was built in July of 1980. This thing is 28 years old! Me, my dad, and my band's bassist Corey are going to work on it to improve its looks and electronics. It sounds perfect, but it's missing an entire volume pot and the other two pots are missing knobs. It was originally metallic red, but now it's kind of ugly and definitely battle scarred. Many, many chips in the paint It also has an aftermarket Seymour Duncan pickup in the bridge position, making it sound about as good as my other Ibanez (which sounds phenomenal ). Its body is that of an Explorer, but with some minor differences. With some new strings, locking tuners and a paint job (black with lime green splatter paint), this guitar should be a very welcome member of my guitarsenal. I'll have pics of this project up soon
I AM SO JEALOUS!!!
That's gotta sound amazing. I'll be looking forward to seeing some pics.
You should record something with it when you get the chance.
