I recommend Blind and Wiseblood by Corrosion of Conformity [if you don't already know em]. And Louder than Love + Badmotorfinger by SG.
And look into Mudhoney as well. The Melvins too?
I could go on forever...

pbiggiea wrote on Oct 18th, 2009 11:57am

I have Badmotorfinger, but I'll look up you're other suggestions. I've heard good things about corrosion of conformity.

Do you have Sweet Oblivion by the Screaming Trees?

Mastodon' "Blood Mountain" should be up there, that is unless you're the kind of brilliant lad to have already aquired it

The sword, sublime, and black sabbath were the only ones i found decent.

But to be fair I haven't heard most of them.

Baroness' "Blue Record", Genghis Tron's "Dead Mountain Mouth" and Neurosis' "Through Silver and Blood" are all needed to make any album collection divine.

Sweet list! Bands I can recommend: Ten East, Sasquatch, Unida, and of course Welcome to Sky Valley by Kyuss (assuming you don't already have it).
What other bands on your list (if any) are similar to Yawning Man or Kyuss? Or just in the vein of stoner rock...
