So for the first time I have used something other than Windows Sound Recorder to record myself playing. I have used other software programs before as a trial (thanks Salmon!), but this one seems to have the complete package. You can obviously record multiple music inputs (through USB and a digital sound card), and do some interesting fade-ins/outs. The part I like best is then being able to take those multiple track inputs and converting them from a lossless format to a lossy format (mp3/wma/etc.)
Also, there is so much more you can do with this software! That is probably the biggest draw-back: there is so much to learn. Unless you have some recording software know-how, or have a close freind who has the software (which I am lucky enough to have the ladder), you are going to find yourself a bit lost and maybe even over-whelmed.
But overall this softwares pros outway its cons. As long as you have a lot of patience and willingness to learn something new, you will fall in love. I am sure there are still tons of more things I could have mentioned and there are probably even more things that I can learn about it. But as I mentioned if you are willing to learn and try something new you will fall in love with Adobe Audition.
