I've been playing guitar for about 4 years now. I don't consider myself amazing at it, but I think it's safe to say that I'm good at it. I play acoustic and electric and am hoping to get into some classical soon.
I've never taken lessons but my school is very famous for it's music so maybe I can take some lessons or classes there in the future. I have somewhat of a knowledge in music theory but learning music theory is like learning another language. There is allot more for me to learn. I learned some chords from my dad at the beginning on the acoustic guitar and started learning songs from there.
I'm not too big on shredding or anything like that and I enjoy rhythm guitar but a little lead is always fun.
I'm a devoted christian and am involved in the worship team and also the youth band at my church. We aren't big, and I don't think we are planning to get big, but it's allot of fun nevertheless.
I listen to anything from the Beatles to U2 to As I Lay Dying. I love music and am open to almost any kind of music. My choice of music that I listen to is much larger than the styles I prefer to play.
And I feel like I'm filling out a profile for a dating website so I'm going to stop from here. haha
