Lol I know of Dave Matthews, I used to hate him as well, but the dude is a great guitar player. The stuff he's doing in a lot of his songs is not easy, it's just that his lyrics and overall song quality don't really match the guitar stuff he's pulling off, but I still respect the dude. I'll definitely listen to him more now lol. Are there any songs in particular that you would recommend, yknow, that changed your mind?

Yeah, I've not found any jammates either...I met one dude at school, but he lives out in Dearborn and I don't have a car, so it sucks >.< I was really psyched too, cuz I mean the dude's got his own little studio and everything, but I guess that's life right?

I've actually been working on a lot of acoustic stuff lately, I've written like 3 songs...trying my hand at songwriting, with lyrics and whatnot. I'm going to try and record them later on, but I've only got 1 mic so the quality's probably going to suck xD

In other news I found some people I can jam with that are sort of into the stuff I like to play...really they're up for anything, and they seem to take interest in my songs, so I'm sort of excited...I'm thinking about planning a jam session with them on Saturday. I'm hoping it'll be a good time, but we'll see where it goes I guess ^_^

Again, really sorry for my shitty response time...it seems that when I graduated my diploma was bundled with a large packet of expectations from my parents that, despite my feverish attempts, I can't seem to meet -_-

Sadly girls that age, at least around here, are (mostly) all that fucking stupid -_- I've dated enough of them, thinking that they couldn't possibly all be that way, only to figure out that the majority of them are in fact that pathetically dense. I'm not really sure what is wrong with my generation; we get practically everything we need and want, yet continually bitch our asses off. I guess it's human nature to never be content with anything...but then again that could just be an excuse to avoid confronting the problem...

Guitar Pro? You mean that tabbing software? I didn't really know that that could record stuff too, I know that it plays back tabs with some sorta realistic sound engine; I haven't really used it, sad to say...Riffworks was something I found on accident while looking for an audio interface. The version I used was free, but there is of course a standard version of it which is like 130 bucks; You can download T4 and then get instant drummer tracks for 10 bucks each, which really isn't bad considering...I have yet to buy drum tracks yet though ^_^

Yeah man, I wish we could jam or something man. It's pretty hard for me to find anyone to really jam w/ around here. I've been trying to start a band, but most of the musicians I know are already in a band, so that makes it p. difficult to start anything up.

Yeah, they're all original(except for Eruption of course). I'm glad you dug my lesson, it was like one of the first ones that was up here and I was skeptical of how well it would do, but I guess it was very helpful to a lot of people which is always cool ^_^
