Yes being a lefty bassist sucks because the manufacturers hate us, the importers hate us more and the retailers hate us the most. And yes I've always been a southpaw; I know a few left-handed people who play guitar right-handed but I'm not ambidextrous enough to do that. This bass I found at a second-hand store actually. It's tone is quite smooth considering its price-range, but my other bass (the Schecter) sounds much nicer =].
