Oh off the top of my head I'd say Dimebag Darrell of course, Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, Brad Paisely, David Gilmore, Kirk Hammett, Nuno Bettencourt, Zakk Wylde, John Petrucci, Dave Matthews, Eric Clapton, Edwin McCain, Joe Walsh, Steve Vai, Willie Adler. However I do not consider Angus Young or Jimi Hendrix a personal favorite. I know I'll get a bunch of slack for that and saying they're not "innovators", but to me catchy-crowd pleasers are not necessarily good guitar players. John Sykes & Scott Gorham are goood too. I know I'm forgetting some big ones.

John Myung hands down, I guess Michael "Flea" Balzary :S, who else?? haha, um..Sublime's bass player is swell, Joe Gittleman, Les Claypool (even though I can't stand Primus...I know, sooorry), help me with the rest someone haha???

I'm 20 years old and have been around music my whole life. In the meantime I have explored a vast variety of genres. Of course I have my own preferences like anyone else when it comes to musical interests. However, after years of analyzing and experiencing music, I propose that one cannot embrace just one genre, likewise dismember other forms as well. My goal is to make you aware of the beauty and science in music and to appreciate it's purpose.
