I too like the freedom of rhythm you've introduced, especially in the melody, although I think it could be improved if you bring the melody out a bit more dynamically, and maybe be a little tighter on your pedal releases to prevent it getting lost in the slush so much. But overall, solid performance! I personally judge something to be a good performance when you lose yourself in the music and almost forget the player is there. If as a listener you're thinking ahead to the next difficult part and hoping they're going to get it right, it loses something. So well done for achieving that.  quote |
