Favorite bands :
The ones that make music. Ask last.fm(http://www.l ast.fm/user/GenuineM arco/library) if you're more curious, I can't really get too deep into it without a gigantic rambling list.
Favorite guitarists :
The ones that play the guitars in a groovy fashion. Again, consult last.fm for more, it's easier that way.
Favorite bassists :
Cliff Burton, Geddy Lee, John Entwistle, Marcus Miller, Billy Sheehan, Stu Hamm, Steve Harris, Victor Wooten
Favorite books :
Any fiction with a good plot, particularly science fiction, or band biographies, as long as they're decently written and the author avoids Purple Prose. There's nothing I hate more in writing. Unfortunately I have no idea how to find good, concise books. PM me if you have any suggestions!
Favorite tv :
I don't watch much TV anymore outside of gridiron football, baseball, Futurama, and reruns of Seinfeld, Scrubs and The Simpsons. I do still like The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, and Brian Williams though.
Favorite movies :
UHF, Monty Python and The Holy Grail, M, an assortment of old silent films - Buster Keaton in-particular - the Star Wars saga, Inception, Casablanca, and The King's Speech.
Not much to tell really. I'm not all that into modern stuff with a few exceptions, IMO George Harrison's death marked the end of an era for rock. It seems to be getting fixed though. Been playing for five years, only been serious about three though. My biggest influences are blues guys old enough to be my grandfather, so I'm a literal slowhand. Really. I can only get the dexterity for faster songs by spending some quality stretching time.

And everyone else seems to be doing one of these, so what the hell;
