Is it possible to cover a Yes tune live without being seen as pretentious?? I'm sorry, but despite the fact that their songs are so complicated to memorize, the concept behind albums like "Relayer" and "Tales from Topographic Oceans" is self-indulgence, right?? By the way, I love Yes, so I'm not against the concept.
It seems as though a lot of blues rock bands are starting to come out and be seen at various festivals. They all seem to be fairly new as well: The Black Keys, The Pack A.D., Radio Moscow, Buffalo Killers, The Steepwater Band, etc. Is this the dawning of a new age in music?? I find it interesting as well that they are all very new.
Can anyone accomplish in Latin jam band style what the rock band Santana has accomplished? No one has come close to the level of popularity that they have been at since Woodstock. I haven't even heard of any other Latin jam bands touring lately. Are there some that haven't been discovered yet or what??
