Favorite bands :
Metallica, System of a Down, Alice In Chains, Disturbed, Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Slipknot, Led Zeppelin...A few off the top of my head. Mostly Metal/90's stuff.
Favorite guitarists :
Kirk Hammett, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and Tony Iomi among others. Those are the few that I've studied most of anyway.
Favorite bassists :
The only bassist I can honestly put here is Cliff Burton.
Favorite books :
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, the His Dark Materials Trilogy, Garth Nix is pretty cool too...I pretty much only read fantasy when I do read.
Favorite tv :
Die hard Simpsons fan, Family Guy is alright, oh and South Park just never seems to get old either.
Favorite movies :
Not really into movies. Pretty much anything funny...In a Dumb and Dumber kinda way. :P
I just decided to make a UG account now after going to this site for tabs, lessons, and reading material for the last 2+ years.
Hmm.. Well, I've been into (playing) music for 4 years now. The drums were my first instrument and I've been playing the guitar for about 2. I also just bought a bass guitar about two months ago, though I've really wanted to play bass I just recently got the $ to buy one. lol
Oh, and I've been playing piano off and on since I was about 12.
I'm also big into music theory, dry and boring awesomeness! I know quite a bit, but sadly I'm far from a theory guru or anything.
