Return the Ransom is a rock n' roll band that formed in the fall of 2008. The Pittsburgh based five member band is made up of Vocalist: Chris Novak, Lead Guitarist: John Grego, Rhythm Guitarist: Matt Walluk, Bassist: "Rockin’" Randy Rowser, and Drummer: Jerode Habas.
The band fuses a blend of Novak’s relentless artistic expression, the tasty grooves of Rowser’s bass lines and the dynamic percussion and rhythmic undertow of Habas. Mix in the nuances of Walluk’s abrupt rhythmic guitar work combined with the subtle intricacies of Grego’s high energy guitar solos and you have the makings of a modern rock band.
Having musical roots deeply embedded in all forms of music such as; rock, metal, jazz, blues, emo, pop and even classical, Return The Ransom creates a style that utilizes a mixture of original and cover songs with the utmost commercial appeal.
