So, why is it drummers can learn guitar fast, I am a drummer and have learned more theory in the last week from guitar than in the last month of drumming only, and i think the piano we have helps too. Even though, i see that most people have to play for a few years before getting what most people would call "good". however, i think otherwise, I can play a lot of metal, i know my scales and arpeggios so i can solo in metal, rock, jazz, blues, THE only thing im not good at are extended chords, however i can play them i just can't memorize them, and that seems to be the only thing stopping me from being a good jazz guitarist, i know I am good because I got into the school jazz band on guitar, I use to only play drums and auxillary percussion in it. I know a lot of chords though, all the barre shapes, those three-string set major, minor, diminished, and augmented. plus the power chords. open ones too, I can do some nice string bending too, I think that I learn really fast because I also know a lot of progressions for jazz, rock, and blues. I think, however, most people in my school have no idea, even though they have seen me play, they like hearing hard rock and modern rock cover songs, and grunge, and it seems like a lot of people can play those but they stop paying attention when i play an original song, in fact, I could do an instrumental album already, I have enough material, I just am too broke to record, even if I could, our pc keeps messing up so i would lose something good, i would have to wail till next summer when i get a laptop(with INTERNET). but anyway, it sems like the public only think you're good if you can play their favorite pop song or the theme to "jackass", seriously, that is all these little kids want to hear, I didn't know they even knew what "jackass" was!
On another nice(horrible) note, I think Hilary Clinton sucks. She would make the NRA faint, she would tax the law abiding gun owners so bad that an industry that employs MORE people in OK alone than the top 3 hospitals in Oklahoma, collapse in on itself, not to mention that deer are overpopulated here anyway.
