I bought a logitek recording mic and Audicity software and tried them out but 16 bit at 44000hz mono just don't cut it . Whats everybody else using ? Protools ?

I'm looking for an add to my line up was thinking of a telecaster
with an ash body and maple neck my hands are small to medium size
and the neck on one has the right size frets and fast action frets .
Tho I have 2 les pauls which I mastered they have medium size frets .
My fender Strat is the close'st to what I want not to big not to small .
Tell me what ya think fret less also would be cool but expensive .
Would make a good song title , but its a bit diffcult for most . Rising cost of living , and gas prices gun violence
