It's kinda grooving what with the hi-hat 16th notes and all. I like your solos, the lead playing was nice. Decent song.

Thanks for the crit dude!! This song is pretty cool, the mixing is awesome though. It seemed really nicely layered. and Damn! the lead tone is awesome, at some points it sorta reminds me of some 70s prog rock for some reason, I have no ideas why, maybe its the key you used. This is really original and really creative man. GREAT JOB!

Nice and groovy tune man. It's real atmospheric and spacial, I like how certain parts are panned really wide- it has a cool effect on me listening. Your lead playing is pretty quick! All I'd say is work on the bending a little. Good stuff though, I liked it!

I wasn't really a fan of the drums. Having said that, you have some good riffs in here. I enjoyed the phase effect. The solos seemed a little out of place although the riff straight after that is really catchy! Would love to hear this song with strong vocals.

Demolisha wrote on May 11th, 2010 3:18am

Sounds pretty good but it seems like the same 3 or 4 riffs over and over. Throw some more ideas in there and things like key changes, tempo changes, etc to really get people listening for what's next.

SoftlySpokenLas wrote on Apr 28th, 2010 4:41pm

This sounds pretty cool, there are some nice kinda phased modulation things going on which sound pretty cool but it does get a bit repeatative and doesnt really go anywhere. The drums could do with livening up abit, maybe a few fills here and there wouldnt go amis.

StewieSwan wrote on Apr 27th, 2010 7:28am

Some of the notes in the solo go out of key but overall pretty good

sambot12 wrote on Apr 25th, 2010 4:09am

sounded good but a little repetitive, i think itll sound awesome with vocals. some nice solos.

Nice tune man, cheers for the crit on mine.

I agree with what most people are saying, its very stoner-y/sabbathy which is cool. Drums could use a bit more life, but thats not such a biggy, its very listenable. Im assuming lyrics are going ot be put over this, yeah?

ethan_hanus wrote on Apr 21st, 2010 8:19pm

It's a pretty cool track dude, everything sounds good except the bass, its slightly out of tune, too sharp, and has a bit to many mids on it, its kinda cutting through your rhythm.

I liked the song, has a very classic rock vibe to it, I can imagine hearing it in the late 70's. I think you should add some lyrics to it, it felt like it was written around lyrics.

reelbigfish2020 wrote on Apr 17th, 2010 12:18am

Cool track. the timing on the intro riff is a little rough whenever it comes it. This track sounds like its from outter space. somethings going on between the guitar and the bass where it sounds like they're out of tune. that really bugs me, but otherwise sweet riffs, cool track.

GuyWithOneEye wrote on Apr 15th, 2010 11:49pm

Not bad. I liked the effects, it was kinda trippy. There were a couple good riffs, but mostly the were pretty predictable. The soloing was kinda meh. Work on staying in a scale, in this case pentatonic.

Kanthras wrote on Apr 8th, 2010 4:38pm

Nice riffs, but the rhythm guitar is a bit fizzy at times.
Leads have a good, clear tone and add nicely to the atmosphere. Good use of effects there.
There weren't any licks that really stood out, though.
Drums were OK. Not bad and some decent fills, but nothing exceptional either.

There's a clear sense of direction in the song, altough it doesn't come to a climax (I think that might've been what you were going for, though), it feels kind of like a bridge between two other songs?

All in all, it's a pretty sweet track IMO.

This is a cool jam good drum clarity but very repititious cool leads

TV-Casualty wrote on Apr 6th, 2010 1:07am

nice job on this song. i like the kind of judas priest vibe that it gives off. i think that the guitar sounds a bit out of tune, and although the riffs are pretty cool, the song is very repetitive. the lead guitar also sounds a bit sloppy, but this sounds cool for a jam session

chrisatgrace wrote on Apr 3rd, 2010 6:04am

some little timing issues. drums were a little dry but i like the cymbals. very nice atmostpheric leads. some of your bends were a little flat. thanks for the crit man! i enjoyed this

scottymoe wrote on Apr 1st, 2010 11:24pm

some really great sounds! nice work with your lead and fills! a pretty cool jam, Monwo!

Really great Sabbathian/Stoner stuff. The out of tune guitar/bass lends itself to the atmosphere quite well. Leads are a little sloppy, but really trippy if you look at it in a different context. Great trippy song overall, now if only I had a joint right now lmao.

spikedemon! wrote on Apr 1st, 2010 3:54am

Pretty cool! I like the groove. The lead was a nice touch! I think it would be even cooler if the main groove had some slight variations to emphasis the flow, if that makes sense.
