Tone from my Pod XT (01:18)
An example of how awesome the POD XT can be. The patch is based on a JCM 2000 with a TS-808 boosting it. Great tone. Sounds nothing like JCM 2000 though apparently..... Don't steal my riff. Blood sweat and tears were put into it. { Tags : pod }

Tone from my Mesa Recto Pre + 2:100 + Mesa 4x12 (01:42)
Recorded with a REALLY OLD Akai ACM-100 microphone. It's so old it has a 1/4 inch jack and uses a double A battery seriously... Recorded into Adobe Audition from my Pod XT PRO being used as a microphone preamp only thus I got the stereo delay and chorus from the XT PRO. Riffage with MASSIVE TONE (00:26)
Recorded with an Akai ACM-100 Electret Condenser Microphone from the 80's. Amp is Rectifier Recording Preamp going into a 2:100 Stereo Rectifier Power amp going into an oversize Rectifier 4x12 (slant front with the straight chassis) Guitar is my Ibanez RG-520 QS-TB with EMG 81/85 combination tuned to Drop C. { Tags : mesa, boogie, rectifier, recording, preamp, ibanez, emg }
