I wouldn't call it wankery, Since Its all planned and awesome. The biggest problem is Just sound quality, because phone mics suck. The second problem are any unwanted open notes/General accidents. But don't worry, there weren't very many.

Nice Ignomious and Pale solo cover, it could be better though. Just refine the technique you have and record it again. Would you mind making a Text tab of the song, or atleast the solo? I Don't have GP or Tuxguitar ATM, and I need a tab for that amazing song.

Those sweeps ARE difficult... bar 10 then 9 then bar 8?! SHIT! I arranged them to where they were all either six string sweeps or tap sweeps for myself... Still haven't gotten anywhere though!

And to think... That was composed for a video game in the 1990's....

If your playing still resembles any of these mp3s, you need to scrap it all and build it up from the bottom up. From fretting and picking individual notes upwards to whatever skills you believe you currently have.
