Warlock and Zakk EMG's?

im thinking of buying the zakk wylde EMG pickups and having them installed on my Warlock. the guy at guitar center seemed to know what he was talking about, but i would like a second oppinion. i am looking for a very distorted sounding bridge pickup and a bluesy or softer neck pickup. i am either going to sell my warlock and buy another guitar with the cool sum of $300 for my case and warlock or spend $208 bucks on the EMG's and enjoy my old guitar with a new sound, what should i do?

I suggest getting a new amp before worrying about the pickups. The amp shapes 80% or more of your tone anyway. Just my opinion.

thank you for commenting on the blog, i might do that. however, my baby (warlock) has recently shitted out so i think im gonna get emgs for that.

People seem to prefer the 60 the 85 in the neck for clean tones. Can't say I agree though. The 85 seems more mellow sounding and is a bit bassier I find.
