haha, well it happens. I've played a Valveking and liked it. Think I'm going to have to get a new amp sometime soon myself, since my old solid state Crate is dying. I'm pretty sure it is anyway. :\ I just don't have the money at the moment.

hmm...I never actually played an EC 500. I just tried out the 1000, and thought "this is it, no need to try anything else." haha. Been more than happy with it since.

ahh...I love my EC. I love flat black finishes, and the gold hardware just goes really well with it. though it's wearing off because I play it so much...I showed someone who works at the guitar store I go to and he thought I'd polished the neck it's so shiny, lol.
