metal amps?

Hey, i've been playing guitar for 4 years and ive been playing a metal style of music the entire time, ive been looking for a new amp, preferably a half stack. I'd like an amp that would good for metal or a combo. My price range is up $1000, if anyone has any suggestions let me know.
