Recording!

I got a nifty little device today that will make it very easy to record now, so expect some recordings up within the next few days or so. I don't know what I'm going to record yet, and it might take a little while, since I'm always so picky with what I record, but hopefully it'll turn out well.

Blogz?

I'm kinda bored right now, and I figured I'd write my first blog on here. It's one in the morning, and I'm not doing anything. I just want Sunday to get here. I've already taken two finals this week, and I have two more tomorrow (technically today I guess), so I'll be done after 10 tomorrow night. Gotta get up and study tomorrow morning for my Electrical Engineering final, take said final, then come back and study for my Calculus final. Then, one month off for Christmas break!

One more thing I'd like to point out. It seems every day I come to like black metal more and more. I'm convinced that it's the most diverse subgenre of music. There are so many different emotions that can be displayed in it: rage, hate, anger, sadness, despair, gloom, joy, etc. Every day I discover new black metal bands, and seeing as how I don't download music, it just gives me more to look forward to. My whole Christmas list is a bunch of black/folk/experimental CDs. I've recently gotten into a lot of the folk influenced black metal, like Temnozor, Agalloch, Graveland, Kroda, etc. I'm still in awe at how good a lot of this music is. Go to Temnozor's myspace and listen to the first track on their player. You won't regret it.

On a final note, Dimmu Borgir's original "Stormblast" album, not the original, is one of my favorite black metal albums right now. It's what I'm listening to currently, and everything about it is amazing. I still like Sargeist's "Satanic Black Devotion" album more though. That is all.
