Cause I honestly have nothing more interesting to blog about.
Kalamazoo College uses a trimester system (they call them 'quarters', but as there are only 3 in the academic year, I prefer trimester) with each being 10 weeks long. Typically, 3 full classes are taken each trimester, allowing 9 total for the year, as opposed to 8 for most schools.
Year 1. 2012 - 2013.
Fall Trimester
Monday: First Year Seminar - Rock & Roll to Rap 11:50 - 1:05 Biology 112 - Evolution and Genetics lecture 1:15 - 2:30 Music 105 - Intro to Music 2:40 - 3:55
Tuesday:Biology 112 lab 12:30 - 4:00
Wednesday: Same as Monday
Thursday: No class!
Friday: Same as Monday
So yeah, I'm pretty happy with this schedule. This should be a very easy first trimester for me, which is awesome. I'm also taking a class called Music 214 - Recording Technology, which is like music production and stuff. But that's set up more as meeting with the teacher whenever I have time, so it doesn't go on the schedule. |
