About mattgab1
I started to play guitar in late November of 2007 because I began to long to play an instrument, again. I had played the drums for 7 years prior, but much of the time in the later few years I was mostly inactive and from 2005 on I played not at all. I had always wanted to know how to play guitar so that, at the very least, I could contribute ideas to the guitar parts if I was a drummer in a band. That notion, coupled with the desire to play an instrument that could be done indoors and quietly, I finally started to learn the instrument.

In other respects, a good RPG every once in a while, especially Baldur's Gate II; which, despite its age, is still my favorite game on the PC (or Mac, in my case). I enjoy philosophical discussion and I, myself, am an Objectivist. I love learning the sciences and I am particularly fascinated by quantum physics, astronomy, and the physics related to electricity. I intend to study electrical engineering in the coming years.
