I don't play bass, so I really don't have a lot of input. I guess Les Claypool is the obvious choice here :)
Favorite books :
Other than music theory and guitar related stuff the only book I've read cover to cover recently was "A Dirty Job" by Christopher Moore. Really funny stuff.
Some older classics, Einstein's Dreams, The Percs of Being A Wallflower.
Favorite tv :
I'm thinking about canceling my TV service because it's a distraction. I have too much going on. I'm sick of sitting in front of it and realizing I just wasted an hour.
I've been playing guitar seriously for a few years now.
I also use Propellerheads Reason for drums and synths. My M-Audio Axiom 49 MIDI controller is how I play most keyboard parts in stuff I write.
I just bought a turntable which I'm hoping to learn, too.
If you listen to my MP3's, please read the descriptions so you know what I'm getting at. I just started posting smaller little bits of stuff I've started on, but haven't really gotten too far into yet. I know a lot of it sounds repetitive. I plan on changing that.
