I love all music (with the exception of rap): rock, country, blues, classical, 70s punk, not a big jazz fan (with some exceptions). These days I do listen to a lot of Patty Griffin, Chris Rea, Dixie Chicks, Indigo Girls, Lucinda Williams, Cowboy Junkies, Melissa Etheridge, k.d. lang, Annie Lennox. My roots are in Springsteen. Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Heart, ELP, Genesis, The Shirts, Renaissance, Queen, Lou Reed ( "Street Hassle" is genius), Patti Smith, Ozzy, Nina Simone, Kirtan music, Genya Ravan, CSN, Carly Simon, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Mozart, Beethoven and Puccini.

Started singing in summer stock and theatre when very young. Played around NYC, fronting cover rock bands for many years, then in Denver. Stopped when I got married (don't get me started), and am starting again now that I'm divorcing (yea, me~).
