Sounds of the organ filled the church in long, reverberating booms. Whispers and sniffles hung in the chapel thick as fog in the morning time. Goodbye for now, I hope you stay where pain and tears can no longer be felt, though, we shall not know till we reach that point ourselves. So rest in peace, please rest in peace...
This weekend a tragedy struck my high school. Our most beloved teacher, Mr. Wieters, is no longer with us. Monday was the most depressing day of school I have ever experienced. Everywhere you would look puffy eyes and tear-stained faces walked down the hall. We have started many Fundraisers for his family since they lived off of his salary. Our teacher went missing last Friday and they found him Sunday morning. The news spread fast and when my brother and I saw it on Facebook we refused to believe. Eventually, there was no way to deny the fact that this horrible event was true. He was the coolest tracher at our school, recently turned 30, everyone who knew him loved him. He left a very heartbroken wife and an 18 month old daughter, a kindergarten son, and also a second-grade son. Both of his sons adored him sooo much. Mr. Wieters played bassist in a local indie band called Y/our Sparkle Heart. He was a math genius and could figure out anything. Kids hung out with him all of the time during lunch and such. He became a very good friend and listener to most. Today was the funeral and it was just so very depressing, all I can think about is Why? Why, would he leave us, we all loved so much, what about your wife? She is so broken now. What about your precious kids? Will they ever be the same? What went on in your head the last week and your last day when you saw them and us? Were you sad? I guess all I can say is we miss you Mr. Wieters, and we love you! So please rest in peace, Only God can answer those questions for me. We miss you so much already.... Please pray for his family and friends. Also please pray for my school and the staff/teachers and students in it.
