i love elliott smiths acoustic noodlings and basically just his musical genius in general.

hmm to be honest i'm more of a six string person but i do apprechiate the sound of a great bass player. hmm. i really enjoy brand new's bassist...the beat is simple yet with great riffs at the beginning or within the songs...there are several more metalish like metalica and pantera that have excellent bass.
