December 4 was really a great day. we had a gig at a friend's 18th birthday where my band played 5 songs. i also jammed with three other bands, one being the bassist and the lead guitars in the other two. it felt really good to play in front of other people, especially in front of your peers. all went great except for a technical problem in one song. i'm looking forward to my next gig.
Hey. I just picked up a Zoom G7.1ut multi-effect pedal yesterday. it's my first multi-effect pedal and it's awesome. There are a lot of effects and drive models to choose from. it's a really good unit for live and recording use. i'll post some pics and clips when i get the time.
It was a close call, a very close call. My father is okay, for now. He's out of the hospital and back into our home. He neither drinks nor smokes now. It's a great relief. Thank you very much to those who prayed for his health. God bless you all.
My father just got an endoscopy last Thursday. he's doing fine after the surgery. I felt relieved.
Suddenly there was a sudden drop in his blood pressure. The doctor said that his liver might have totally failed. I was very crushed by his words. I'm not prepared to lose someone.
I still have three exams coming this week. I don't know if i can pass them all now that i cannot concentrate on my studies. I feel bad.
I put all my trust in God and his works. Please pray for my father who is now in the ICU for the third day. Please pray for his recovery...
when your life gets miserable, it's really hard to concentrate on the things you do. it's hard to study when you're down. it's hard to make good music when you're not inspired. it's hard to be yourself when you have a problem. i can't concentrate on music and academics as of now...
so my father is in the hospital for the second time due to excessive drinking. his liver is failing and he's vomitting blood, large volums of blood... he's really helpless as of now and he's at the ICU. please pray for him to help him get better really quick. i don't want to lose my father...
and just a word of advice to all those who drink alcoholic beverages, stop while you still can. too much of something is very bad, and i can prove it.
