I've been listening to a lot of Coheed lately, and decided the world would be better if I write a concept album. The names and ending arent set in stone, and will most likely be changed. Anyway, here's my idea:
Apollo's friend, Lady, kills herself because she found out her lover didn't love her. Apollo, who thought of Lady as his sister, is enraged. He confronts her "boyfriend," Max, and is amazed at how much he doesn't care. Angry, he swears he will avenge his friend. So, Apollo begins working on an elaborate plot to make Max realize what his carelessness has caused. He carries out his plan, and Max goes insane/dies for some reason. Standing over the body of his enemy, Apollo realizes that his rage turned him into a monster. In order to set his life straight, and to avoid being traced back to the death of Max, Apollo leaves his small town to...
That's all I have...if you have suggestions or stuff, or realized that I subconsciously stole this idea from something, let me know, I would appreciate it.
Wow, this just caught my eye. Not a bad idea actually. It could work out really well. If you want some ideas/inpiration you should try listening to Dream Theater as well if you haven't. Metropolis and Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence were absoutely BRILLIANT. You've got a cool idea nonetheless. Simple, but I think it'd work if you put some effort into it.

depending on how long you want this album to be, you could pace the middle of it out a bit, maybe.
i.e. have max go insane, and later have him die - or something
