I wasn't really trying with the tone on that Cliffs of Dover recording. I more just plugged in, played it, and that was it. I did it because I had everything plugged in already and just wanted to hear how I sounded on recording on it to see what needed cleaning up (little did I know that it was... ALL OF IT!) But thanks for the comment.

BTW, I have since then nailed the tone

I've recently taken a liking to Boutique made pedals. Triple the price, but better quality and sound. Its an endless quest my friend, i'll never be satisfied. I have a bunch of plans too.

Relatively soon, i plan on buying a Fender Super Reverb RI and an Epiphone '56 RI Goldtop (i'd go for the Gibson, but even 3k is too excessive for me). Then theres still the pedals i plan on getting and electronics for my strat/goldtop if i get it.

overall theres like 5 grand of gear i plan on having. :O

Well, thats what happens when i have a job and nothing else to buy. and Come on, your rigs not bad at all, those Vox amps are nice. I got a really good deal on my Marshall/Metro and Strat anyway.

Yeah. Brian May is a musical genius. His solos in Killer Queen and Bohemian Rhapsody are among the best ever.
I need a metronome. That's one thing I need to invest in. It's such a useful tool, and many people don't take advantage of it.
