Interests
Favorite bands :
Arch Enemy Circa Survive Death Cab For Cutie Katy Perry Lamb of God Megadeth Minus The Bear Opeth A Perfect Circle She&Him The Smashing Pumpkins The Submarines Teddy Geiger Tool We Are Scientists (notic e the alphabetical order; iTunes ftw!)
Favorite guitarists :
Mark Morton: My biggest influence in life. Lead guitarist of Lamb of God, and my all-time hero. When it comes to describing him, I like to not say so much, in fear of insulting him. He's great. End of discussion. Willie Adler: Rhythm guitarist of Lamb of God, another great influence. Everything stated above stays true here. Dave Mustaine: I'm not as much of a fan of his guitar playing as I am a fan of his performances. He's good at guitar, and can sing and scream his heart out. Good dude. Pretty much any famous guitarist is influential at this point in life. I'm learning everything from everything.
Favorite bassists :
John Campbell: Of course, Lamb of God. Most of his bass lines are just him following the guitar parts; which, may I add, is fucking impossible. Gotta respect him for that. He's a great player, and a great guy. Justin Chancellor: Tool of course. He's great. Every Tool song has groovey bass. I didn't know much about bass until I started jam sessions with a friend who's a bassists. He really opened my ears and I listened to bass more carefully, and Tool was something that really stuck out.
Favorite books :
I like to read. GOOD books. INTERESTING books. If I'm reading for the sake of reading, I get quite bored. But if it seems good, then I'll never put it down. I read the last Harry Potter book in like 7 hours :haha: I was crazy back then.
Favorite tv :
Eh.
Favorite movies :
I like pretty much any kind of movie, as long as it isn't crap. Some GREAT movies include: Eternal Sunshine Requiem for a Dream And others, can't think right now.
About larrytheguitar
I started playing guitar during August 3rd of 2008; in other words, a little over a year. I SUCK. I can't believe how much I suck. You'd think you'd be the shizz after a year of playing, but no.. I'm still trying though :)

Anyway, I'm self taught, and didn't know a thing about guitar until this site came along. I lurked the electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and guitar gear & accessories forums all night, expanding my cranium guitar facts. Without this site, I probably wouldn't be who I am, so thanks for that.

Love you guys.
