Lately I've proudly seen shred making its way back into music, and younger kids want to learn guitar and want to shred like the greats. However, when they learn, somehow they'll end up in the hands of an idiot! These kids are getting "riffs/licks" taught to them instead of generic chromatic exercises that teach them how to alternate pick and then they will practice horribly in hopes that playing smoke on the watter and crazy train intros 100 times; with improper technique will some how help them. It's hopeless, and then someone like me says "ok, I'll try to do something about it" gets denied by whoever goes through the tab lessons and notices a few words with incorrect spelling and denies a great lesson while lessons like "play like____" and "two string sweep arpeggios" get let accepted and show up on the sights lesson pages. I am going to try and submit a guitar lesson in power tab form, the band name will be "lesson" and the song name is going to be "swept away" please try this and realize that all I want to do on this web sight is advance in guitar and help other guitarist advance CORRECTLY! thank you for reading this and please support me in this cause (I'm newer to this sight)
Good news every one! one of my tabs (band: lesson name:Rusty Cooley picking technique) has been accepted! Check it out and rate it, it will teach you my finger wizardry mastery skills as soon as you learn to quit school and/or your job, dump your girl friend and practice, practice and guess what? Practice! Until you can play it as fast as the tab presents it (8 notes per beat 120 beats per quarter note) it seems ridiculous so heres how to archive it, ascent every down beat when learning it, start as slowly as possible making sure every note is even in duration, make sure all of your picking directions are correct, its a power tab file and you wont be disappointed, tell me what you think of it toodles
