This is just a simple opinion based blog on why I think the PS3 is better than 360. First of all, Xbox can't play HD (Blu-Ray) movies without a hardware add on. Second, the controllers are too big. You need like a harness that goes around your neck to the controller just to hold it up and not go into muscle failure during play time. Third, the names themselves. I hate to make Bill Gates even more rich than he already is. I would rather give my hard earned money to the platform that made the greatest game ever, Final Fantasy VII. (I did said EVER) A lot of shooter players will bring up Halo, but if thats all it's got, your about ten years to late. There are other pros but I will save them for the argumrents that I am sure are to ensue.
no... xbox controllers are quite a bit more comfortable for guys like me with rather large hands and i tend to like the games more on 360 personally (though the fact that i'm quite a bit better at 360 could be a factor)
ive played both and i have the 360. the controllers are better in my opinion for shooter games, ps3 controller is better for sport games but i hardly play those. and bill gates gives most of his money to charity and his kids are getting fuck all when he dies cos its going to charity.

and the main thing with the ps3 that stops people buying it is the price. £300 in the UK for a 40gb version when you can get an xbox 360 60gb model for £170. we are in the credit crunch!! people wont look at specs they will go for the cheapest and best value for money (xbox 360). or they go with what their friends have. and most of those friends have 360s. my 2 friends i walk to school with have ps3. and each time someone else says they are getting one they talk about how many people in their year have a ps3. but out of the 370 people in their year only about 50 probably have them. wheras in my year about 200 people have 360s. that is because they went with what their friends have. basically no matter what the specs people will go for the one that their friends use online. or the cheapest. some people buy a console purely for 1 game. that is pointless
I beg to differ. I know at least 3 people who regreted buying the 360 after playing my PS3. The price does suck but you can't let that stop you. So it might take you 2 months to save for a PS3 rather than 1 month for a 360. Well worth the wait. And I agree with your last statement. It is a total waste of money to buy a 360 purely for Halo ove vise versa for a differents game.
well a lot of people i know played ps3 and thought that it wasnt suitable for thier needs. basically they like shooter games (cod4/halo 3) and thought the 360 was better for them.
it would be pointless for me to spend £300 on a ps3 cos i barely play my 360 that much. maybe an hour every 2 days. on the weekend mornings i play for a max of 2 hours, maybe on guitar hero or assassins creed or sometimes fifa 08. but i play guitar for about 1 and a half to 2 hours a day. get my meaning. i probably will get a couple of new games (fallout 3) but i would rather spend money on guitar
i know i wont get famous at guitar but i sort of have an ambition to, my friend who drums has spent over £1000 on his current kit and doesnt have any ambition to carry on after he's left college etc. so i figure why spend £300 on a ps3 when i can get a washburn x50 pro for that money. and i did consider selling my 360 and getting a ps3 but cos of guitar i didnt
That is a good plan man. I think I would go with that one too. I also agree that 360 is more for shooters anyway. I loathe shooter games. Maybe thats why I don't like it.
sony produces the best system!! when i bought my ps2, i didn't have to buy new games just to play it. and now, i can play ps1 games on the ps3. for that, i will never buy a gaming system from any company but sony.
that being said, i don't have a ps3 because i'd rather have a new pedal, or strings, or amp, or guitar, etc. playing a real guitar kicks the crap out of guitar hero and crap!

well i also would like to put tthis out here...... Gears Of War!!!! That is one game that xbox 360 owns all at!!! The only bad thing is it might go on ps3. another thng nice about the xbox is the controler.... it has a nice shape and fits in your hand. that is all got to say
