thedudemeister wrote on Oct 13th, 2007 6:56pmhi, i have just read your article on power chords II on ultimate-guitar.com, and in the article u mentioned that if u thought the tab for basket case, from the dookie songboook, was wron, then complain to BJ because he wrote it. i was just wonderin, i believe u were referin to the songbook, BJ didnt write the songbook, none of the artists write the songbooks, if u read on the first page, it tells you who transcribed the score/book, if green day had wrote the book, then it would be free of errors, 100% correct, i have green days bullet in a bible songbook and the american idiot songbook, and they say to play basket case, the e5 power chord is as u transcribed it, on the 7th fret, A string, but the b5 chord at the second fret of the A string. there are differences between songs transcribed in bullet in a bible and american idiot. just thought u should know.
