I'm Ben, 17. I was born in Guernsey lived there for 7 years. I started violin lessons there at age of 7 and have played ever since. My family moved to the Isle of Man in December 2002 and I also lived there for 7 years. In 2009 we moved to Perth, Scotland. For Christmas that year I was given a guitar but it lied in my room for most of the following year untouched until November when my first study leave came along and I had nothing to do. So I picked up my guitar and started strumming. Since then I've played almost every day exploring different songs and artists work. In 2011 I was leant a Mandolin by a friend from church and the following Christmas was bought my own. I picked up Viola and Electric in 2012. Stringed instruments have become a big part of my life and I look forward to learning to play more in the future and becoming more confident in my playing.
