I didn't enter the contest due to lack of mic but decided to wip up some lyrics anyway.

Original contest here: or here

I call it "How You  Pronounce Your Name"

I said sweet salutations, dear Batman,
as I dug my slow hole to china.
Alas this song is not about a man,
but Carmel, who has a lovely...
(get your mind out of the gutter son!)
...set of antique china.(you know, plates and stuff)

She has a voice,
so warm and sweet.
Not harsh and shrill
like a parakeet.
I can't help but listen,
over and over again,
how you pronounce your name...
how you pronounce your name.

I paddeled my boat with a frying pan,
to Tel Aviv just to meet you there.
But a very nice man with an AK-47,
told me you wern't there.

She has a voice,
so warm and sweet.
Not harsh and shrill
like a parakeet.
I can't help but listen,
over and over again,
how you pronounce your name...
how you pronounce your name.

I thought I climbed another ladder rung,
but then I stepped in hamster dung.
It's alright as long as I'm
moving on towards you.

This love of ours will forever last,
like a starfish encased in solid glass.
And your presence just makes me lose my breath.
Then you speak...

She has a voice,
so warm and sweet.
Not harsh and shrill
like a parakeet.
I can't help but listen,
over and over again,
how you pronounce your name...
how you pronounce your name.
