A new demo me and my friends were working on, just two guitars and bass for now. Very inspired by softer songs by Brand New. Me on lead, Tom on rythm and jake on bass. Still in very early stages with no lyrics and poorly recorded on my laptop.
poorly recorded improv over a backing track i made on my boss RC-20XL
using my Epiphone LP with SD pickups, Vox AC30CC1, and my wah
apologies for the poor quality, its recorded though the microphone on my laptop and it started to rain halfway through
Playing around with some open D slide on my acoustic. Nothing great, but i had been listening to alot of Seasick steve and thought id give it a lil try { Tags : blues, slide, improvisation, acoustic, seasick }
Another improvised jam using my trusty Boss RC-20XL. This is also partly a little demo of my Melekko 616 delay, and also shows of my new improved homemade fuzz! I also use an MXR EVH phase 90, a Carl Martin classic chorus. The lead is using a Big Muff w/ Tone wicker. Some iffy bits, but i was just playing around, starts off kinda post-rocky, but i then improv'd lead over it!
Guitar is a Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster, into a Vox AC30.
At the end i get to demonstrate some of the crazy feedback of the 616 { Tags : post, rock, 616, improv, looper, jazzmaster }
a small little demo of my new Malekko 616 analogue delay. I run through a couple of different settings, from subtle slapback, to longer delay times, to a mid delay time lead tone. I also demonstrate the modulation, even though im still getting used to it.
Finally end with some of the crazy feedback.
And btw, my voice sounds odd cos i have a cold, so i tried not to talk much! :D
as it states in the title, forgive my sloppy playing!
My set up is Jazzmaster into a Vox AC30, overdrive comes from a Keeley BD { Tags : malekko, 616, demo, jazzmaster, improv }
