Oh, and for tips, Don't rush it, and stop every now and then to look over your work, especially if you don't want to go through the inlays. and make sure you tape off the frets to minimize damage done to them.

The scalloping was definitely worth it, I just used a pencil with sand paper around it for the upper frets, and various objects the width of the other frets, this would not work the best if you are going past the 15th fret. I used stuff like Pencils, pens and a glue stick, if that helps. :)

yeah that seems pretty good. its a flipped headstock too for ?25 thats a bargain, probably not going to find anything cheaper i suppose.

not allowed to post ebay links in the forum, i got an ibanez style one from there and its pretty good quality, theyre all maple necks. and by the looks ofit its a rosewood fretboard on that one
