Favorite bands :
i like so many different styles of music, it's hard to pick favourites. i'm really into paramore, nickelback and daughtry. i like some solo artists like kt tunstall and newton faulkner. and there are quite a lot of other bands i like aswell whethere its emo/pop-punk/pop-roc k/rock. and i love country music too. and some unsigned bands like conditions and boyce avenue (who have loads of really awesome covers and a fair few original songs on youtube so go watch ;] ). i absolutely adore acoustic music. i prefer acoustic covers of pretty much anything, because i like to be able to hear a really good vocal or instrumental performance and not have it drowned out by unnecessary noise.
Favorite guitarists :
i know there are some really iconic lead guitarists out there but i'm gonna pick a few different ones. newton faulkner has some mad skills. and alejandro from boyce avenue is quite awesome too. i just find it impressive when people can play complex guitar music really really well (not just strumming) and sing at the same time. my multi-tasking skills fail so i can't do that lol. and like i said, i prefer softer acoustic music to anything else.

hi. well, i'm ashley. there's not too much i can say about me tbh, not relating to guitar anyway. i've been playing a while, mostly learning classical but dabbling with a few other things, and i love it but i'm really not that good by my own standards (i'm quite a perfectionist). i'm getting there slowly. i sometimes think i can hardly do anything but then i take a step back and look at all the things i can do now that i couldn't do in the beginning and it's not all bad. i like taking a melody and making a kind of classical version of it and generally just experimenting with music. i can't sing for sh1t, but i can't help singing along anyway =]
anyway, when i'm not playing guitar, i spend a good portion of my time at sixth form college. i've just finished my first year of AS level psychology, biology, chemistry and maths. i'm thinking of applying to cambridge to do a degree in natural sciences after next year, providing i can get good A level results.
