hazzmatazz wrote on Dec 26th, 2009 11:27pmAh yeah I got that last year, it's really cool, some awesome pictures in there. Really fantastic stuff. And really? That's great. Of course I'll let you now man. quote |
hazzmatazz wrote on Dec 26th, 2009 8:06pmHaha, nice one, sounds absolutely awesome, I look forward to it. It was pretty cool for me, I got a lot of DVDs and books. Some clothes too (2 Flight of the Conchords T-Shirts haha). I also got a Banjo too which is so cool, it's actually a lot different to a guitar but I'm learning, hopefully I can pick up my chops on alternate picking. I also have a video of the little show we did and I'll try and get it up as soon as I can. quote |
hazzmatazz wrote on Dec 26th, 2009 11:32amMerry Christmas man! Hope you had a good one, get anything cool? quote |
myguitarishott wrote on Dec 23rd, 2009 4:24ami totally get you. its awesome how much i understand what your saying.
yeah someday i will get where you are...(i hope). it sounds like being on stage is like...well like it means alot to you or however you'd put it. I know i'm probably just stating the obvious but whatever lol. i hope you guys are gonna record your show in february? cuz that would be tight if you did. quote |
myguitarishott wrote on Dec 21st, 2009 10:32pmYes...our first gig was like i didn't look at ANYONE. but dude, my confidence has increased so much since then, and even though i still have trouble with looking at people, i can now actually sing in front of people that aren't my closest friends without absolutely freaking out haha. it is amazing....i just look back and think how 2 months ago, i would have never been able to see myself actually performing in front of people....
and i know what you mean about making yourself seem a bit mysterious on stage lol
cuz you know that everyone is focused on YOU ya know? kinda gives you a feeling and sense of power. haha
that's awesome! i'm happy for you! quote |
hazzmatazz wrote on Dec 21st, 2009 1:31pmI know. I'm trying to look at the positives, at least he'll make more of his own music which I really enjoy. Yet I doubt he'll release a lot of it because, well, it's John. No one even comes close to the chemistry Flea and Chad shared with him, damn what a crappy christmas.
On the other hand Rage's 'Killing In The Name' winning Christmas no. 1 over here is just awesome. It's on all the music channels, radio, plus a friend and I go out playing it acoustically which is hilarious. quote |
myguitarishott wrote on Dec 17th, 2009 4:27amYeah send me ur page
Our performance was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I enjoyed it alot...except my stupid adrenaline made my voice shake...ugh. it was dumb lol but oh well...i think i did okay....except for the fact that i was looking everywhere but at the people :P
February is so far away!!!!!!! but it will be here before you know it! quote |

myguitarishott wrote on Dec 13th, 2009 5:24pmWell thank you! that's really something.
Now I just need to work on the loudness and singing from my diaphragm....lol.
And yeah macs are expensive.....lol not something i am going to buy any time soon haha. I'm getting a new camera sometime after Christmas...I'm assuming that the recording quality is going to be WAAAAY better than the camera I'm using now. Did you notice the background noise at all? Cuz I thought it was pretty apparent...but oh well *shrugs* lol quote |
hazzmatazz wrote on Dec 12th, 2009 3:42pmYeah they're pretty cool. Should be an awesome show, the visual show too. quote |
hazzmatazz wrote on Dec 11th, 2009 6:06pmThat's fucking awesome dude! How much did they set you back? I can imagine them being quite pricy. I'm considering seeing Mastodon in February too. quote |
myguitarishott wrote on Dec 10th, 2009 6:25amthank you so much! that's awesome! you have no idea what this does for my self confidence. on my other video, this one asshole posted this comment about how my singing was horrible and i should save it for the hot chicks on youtube lol so i was like what the frik...lol but i mean, if i got my first hate comment, that must mean i'm getting somewhere haha right? XD
and you thought the sound was good? i thought it was awful! all the noise and fuzziness...my camera is like that. i don't have a webcam...i wish i did though. quote |

hazzmatazz wrote on Dec 8th, 2009 3:58pmYeah, they really sounded like they had their shit down, I really enjoyed it. I'm a little in the dark in my local scene, because I don't actually live in the city. But there is this really cool folk band that goes to my school (I'm pretty good friends with the bassist). But that band is really cool. quote |
hazzmatazz wrote on Dec 7th, 2009 7:30pmFreaking awesome. Are those guys local to you? (I'm guessing they are). quote |

myguitarishott wrote on Dec 1st, 2009 1:30amoh and i wanted to thank you for becoming a fan of our band quote |
myguitarishott wrote on Dec 1st, 2009 12:36amI know my mom doesn't like the idea of my driving around but my dad is like watever! my daughter is growing up plus i don't want to be driving her around everywhere. haha. parents....lol
well so far we are going to be playing something like 3 songs...its a small thing for our guitar class open house thing...but still. and yes we have two other original songs so far; she wrote another one (actually she has like 3 or 4 come to think of it) and i wrote one (!!!) which i'm pretty happy about...i still need to work on it some more. but yeah haha. quote |
hazzmatazz wrote on Nov 27th, 2009 6:42pmYeah it went pretty well, and I played all the leads. In the end we only settled on Enter Sandman because my rhythm guitarist just couldn't get Master of Puppets down, which is fine because it's a hard song. We also played Give It Away and Time is Running Out. My drummer and I also jammed at the beginning and end was really cool.
Good luck with that man, it sounds really awesome. Next week I'm getting on top with my guitar work, I can guarentee it. quote |
hazzmatazz wrote on Nov 26th, 2009 7:22pmHey man. Been rather busy with school and other things, sadly my guitar playing is slightly suffering from it. I performed in front of my school with some friends not so long ago, it went really well, and apparantly my friend's Dad has a recording studio so yeah... probably gonna take advantage of that at some point haha. How about you man? quote |
