I am starting a band! (at last) so far ive got a bassist, rythem guitarist, lead guitarist (me), and drummer. i still need a singer and we need to get together so i can teach them how to read music and teach to play some stuff and then eventually start practice. we are going to a black metal band, which is probably my faveotrie genre.
So i didn't get my epiphone sg for xmas... good. Because i read the reviews on it and they were not so good. so i read the reviews on some jackson guitars and found the jackson MG Series DXMG Dinky Electric Guitar to have good reviews so i looked it up and the price was $449.95... in my budget! my dad didnt get a guitar for xmas for me but every month i do good in school i get 100 dollars and i have racked up $430 so far, only 200 from my dad, and 200 dollars from my dads mom and 30 dollars from my moms mom. here we come jackson dinky!
My parents wont let me get a fucking guitar for xmas cause i didnt bring one homework assignment home and got a zero on it. i can still get it for my birth day.
Do You know what that is? Its the scientific term for tennis elbow. Why am i talking about this? its a common injury from playing guitar. and after a year and a few months of playing i have it! it really pisses my off. Its from when you play and you tense you elbow it causes swelling and lots of pain. but there is a home remady for this! Its called R.I.C.E. Rest, ice, commpression, and elavation. rest it, put ice on it, press on it, put it above your head occasionly. sounds easy right? this will go on for a while and you also need to do wrist curls. stick you arm out and lift the weight with just you wrist on both sides of the arm.
Well i amvery fond of the UG website, i use it for getting all of my guitar pro tabs. As you can tell by my username i love heavy metal, nu metal, black metal, but can never go wrong with classic rock. Zeppelin, Sabbath, AC/DC, Rush, bands like that. And i never listen to rap, or country
