Thanks for the kind words, man, I really appreciate it. I just found an old sample of some Tabla playing on freesounds.org and cut that up. For the guitar sample a few of my friends found these strange handmade stringed instruments in our physics classroom. They sounded too weird not to sample.

ahh, that sucks. fucking high e's. and youre so lucky youre on break! mine JUST ended yesterday. although my break was very good, i stayed up till 4, made the EP, went out w/ friends a lot, and guess what?! that girl i told you about, the one i was staying up w/ till 4am every night? well, i told her how i feel and she just so happened to like me too and now we're gonna go on a couple of dates and hopefully ill have a gf in about a month. and i havent played any shows since March 20th, but we've got one April 28th, another at my school's Battle of the Bands (TBA), and May 22nd and June 4th. our fanbase has grown on facebook by about 30 fans since the EP came out, its now at 329 fans. im really happy about it. i think we're really close to becoming something big on the island. we've also got an interview w/ a local magazine! so im really excited.

yeah. im still listenin to pretty simple mainstream stuff but when i go back to the bands i listened to when i started playing guitar, Green Day, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Chili Peppers, its all so much fun to play and listen to, like you said. and yeah, like ill use a complex chord here and there (like the Ebmaj9 i use in "Accustomed to Drifting") but the song itself is really simple and catchy. i dont wanna be too pop, but like Cobain said, the idea of a pop song is catchiness. you could hate the song, but have it stuck in your head and that artist has done what they set out to do, write a catchy pop song. lol.
