SWilson wrote on Sep 10th, 2011 11:46pmI really didn't mind my short stay in Winnipeg. Was up there to see New Flyer. My company makes steering gears for trucks and heavy equipment. The locals seemed friendly, made a couple friends in the hotel bar and shared some beer. Anyhow, good luck with school. More importantly good luck job hunting afterwards. Whatta you know, another guitar playing engenner. quote |

nalyd wrote on Jul 29th, 2008 11:19pmYou like Robert Cray, eh? Check out Back Door Slam, they're a young blues group from the UK, pretty fantastic. Their name is indeed from the Robert Cray song and they cover it as well. Definitely check it out, he's a big influence on them. quote |

priest.fan. wrote on Mar 19th, 2008 3:34amhey, listened to all the stuff on your profile - its very impressive for the most part, the extremist cover especially caught my ear, spot on some of the bluesy jams got a little repetative but its hard to stay away from repition when improvising, overall I'd say most of the recordings are very good, cool twangy tone as well quote |
hawk5211a wrote on Feb 21st, 2008 6:57pmI have an American Stardard Stratocaster, 2007 model. When i bought it it was called the American Series, but its the same as the new American Standard. It plays amazing, especially once you get the 9's off and put 11's on. The neck is very smooth and comfortable, and its very easy to play. Plus it sounds killer. feel free to ask if you ahve any more questions on them. Hope this helps! quote |
XxGibsonSGxX wrote on Feb 21st, 2008 2:31amHey, your gear says you have an American Stratocaster? Is it just an American Standard Strat? 'Cause I ordered one, and didn't get to play it first, so...how's it play? quote |
