Let’s Crash The Masquerade
We are born to a shell that’s molested.
While naked pupils of innocence uplift,
They detest that organic aura,
Striving to mold and deform the soul
With society’s pedestal of suffocation,
These man-made poisons of ego
And furious persuasion. Infants aren’t born corrupt.
How fragile, the anatomy of a changeling.
With our mindsets fated as clay from the start
And our ways restricted to this map,
No one sees how we bask in evil’s glory.
We must open our eyes and remove these dark masks.
Choice-less education hammers barbarian traditions
And the cage is too censored to explore
The slaughter of the innocent, an unnecessary war
Scorning humanity. Can an “advanced” society
Find resolution without violence?
While technology feasts off decadent minds
Glitter and robotics shame these gifts of nature
Rape victims become puppets when placed in cubicles.
Marionettes with their briefcases, their wounded wrists
Blister beneath the shackles.
Our tampered species has evolved with hateful forked tongues,
Minds shunned to the wonder of a child, we cannot reflect
past simplicities. Hypocrites say nature is a sin ,
Yet it is “holy” to brainwash, to preach ignorance and greed?
Imagine us at the beginning.
How could we have changed so much?
Was our need for self satisfaction our downfall?
What we need is a cleansing, universal epiphany
that science forbids, for its blind clones
might then learn something.
We must venture for mindfulness, ward off the ordinary
And break free, Peek beneath the masks,
Find a piece of the wreckage and warp it with your name.
Liberate yourself from normality. Embrace this life
And live to illustrate your story.
