Influences

What would u say are the 3 people, bands, albums, movies, etc. that influence u as a musician?

For Me, My Biggest Influences Are, Billie Joe Armstrong for his awesome songwriting, Rivers Cuomo because I love his singing. And finally as cheesy as this sounds, The School Of Rock, (lol i know) because when i was a bit younger seeing that movie made me want to play the guitar, just seeing a group a kids playing like that really inspired me.

So that's what influences me. What influences you?

ahhh...The School of Rock, that was a good movie...
my 3 biggest influences are...I don't know, but the Sex Pistols are up there.

Billie Joe's the biggest one. i watched him play "Holiday" and seeing him inspired me to play the guitar. Green Day's music has influenced mine a lot too as well as Sum 41. as of lyrics i think that what influences me is GD (again), The Beatles and some Sum 41

Oh man, Angus Young and Malcom Young are for sure my number one team. Then, Meg and Jack White since they are divorced, but still make music together. And, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons because they wrote so much influential stuff together. Great blog dude. I love the ones where comments are prompted, and everyone can say how they feel.

I could go on and on forever about my influences, but if I had to pick three it would be hearing the solo in stairway to heaven the first time(which is the original reason I started listening to classic rock, and started playing guitar), watching the movie hendrix just seeing what an artist Jimi Hendrix was, and numerous Slash solo's.
