I was going to my guitar lesson and one of the ball joints dropped out on the front axle, i lost control of the car clipped the verge and rolled. My door was damaged so it wouldn't open and i got out through the windowscreen. After this I moved the car out of the way with the help of some people who were passing by and it suddenly occured to me I had my classical guitar on the back seat, so i pretty much pulled the door off getting in and retreived the case, not a scratch on the guitar.
I called my dad and he came to get me, and my guitar teacher also came to make sure I was OK. While i was waiting for them I gathered up hubcaps and windmorrors and sat at the side of the road practising some scales to calm down.
Pretty scary, but if anything can be learned from this it's keep your guitar on the back seet when you're driving. If it was in the boot it would have been crushed by my spare wheel.
