I'm really annoyed when people that are into punk music post comments sayin' that bands that are more pop, are by no means punk.... you've got to understand that when people say pop-punk, alternative-punk, ska-punk etc... thay don't claim that all these sub-categories replace the old-school punk category... i mean these styles that i've mentioned before are only the evolution of '70-'80s e.g. Sex Pistols punk... and ,yes, when a band appears on t.v. is just for commercial reasons, to be widely known, and i don't see where the problem is when a band wants some more fame... we are over the age when punk-bands were a group of friends that played in a garage or the closest pub... now things are more pop and whether you like it or not that's the way it is...
