Same here, The only reason I watch the hodgetwins is because they're funny as hell and for the motivation. I wasted a lot of time before I knew any better following their old nutrition advice, gems such as 'no carbs before bed', 'eat ever 2-3 hours', 'no white rice', 'one body part once a week' etc etc

So glad I'm past all that bro science shit. Push/pull/legs and IIFYM has been the best thing that's happened to me. Strength and size gains errywere.

Yeah, looks like a HGH gut! Do you follow Ian McCarthy?
Yeah he's awesome. It's funny - I watch Ian for nutrition lessons however I watch the big guys for training/motivation.. I find it hard to get motivated by Ian - it's like the weedy nerdy kid saying 'H-hey you know if you do this it'll help you get b-bigger.. (flexes bicep)

Jones is a funny guy, as for the competition though I think Ogus will come in more shredded than Jones. Matt's doing a slow controlled bulk whereas Chris is just playing it by ear and putting on more fat than he needs to lol. We'll have to see.
I don't like the look of Jones' turtle gut in his new bulking vid either..

Ogus or Jones? :
Man! I'm subbed to both and I love them both haha. CJ is funny as hell and has a great training ethic, but I relate more to Ogus' training style and philosophy (some).

What about you?

Check back in the orchestration thread in about half an hour...

Also, could you give me some feedback on my last cue? It's also in that thread. I'd like to hear your advice.

My main instrument is Guitar, Piano is getting close to my guitar level now.

as someone in a similar position to you, i'd be very curious to know what your piano regimen consists of. repertoire, drills, exercises, etc.

do get back to me sometime. i'm actually really curious. i've been focusing on piano a lot recently, and i'd like to get the most out of my practice time while i still have the next 2-3 years to practice.

I take it you're a fan of Glenn Goulds interpretation?

Yea, for the most part. I don't think there should be a "standard" way of interpreting Bach. Just whatever works to clearly separate and distinguish the lines. That's the beauty of his music. It's extremely flexible and raw, and there's no need to have a standard.

I wish they'd make profiles more like forums. The amount of times I use a smily and it doesn't work.

I put that piece up like you suggested. Trying to work on something right now too but nothing's coming. :(

I only got into orchestral music in the past year and a half-2 years ago, before that i was into much more guitar orientated music (which i still love btw).
Awesome, your guitar playing is really tasteful.
