Sorry for the late reply. Nice job on the Vox, I don't have one any more but they are seriously good amps. I do have the 1x12 AC-4 cab though for my Valvepower.
As far as the Danelectro OD goes, it's a superb pedal. I actually tried it through an AC-4 first and I think it's the best you can get in that price range. It's simply sublime.

Dmullar wrote on Aug 14th, 2009 5:19pmHeya, i see you have/had an AC4.
Would you be able to answer a couple of q's? (i'm thinkin of getting one =P)
Does it break up really early?( Can you get some loud cleans out of it?)
Would it be able to be heard over a drummer? (i'm not really expecting a yes for this one....)
Thanks =] quote |

How's that Ampeg mate? I saw it on a website just before you bought it. Looks like a real beauty! | Wow. I didn't see your question until almost a year later.
The Ampeg kicks ass. It has no master volume, though, so I don't get to crank it for that sweet tube overdrive very often. It sounds like a tube amp ought to - heavenly.

Sorry I didn't see your question. I hardly ever look at my own profile.
The Ampeg is a great amp. Lacking a master volume, though, I don't get to crank it at home in my apartment complex. Still, even at daytime apartment-friendly volumes, it has sweet tone that reminds me of some '60's Fender amps. I cranked it all the way at work when I first got it and it overdrives like a beast and sounds hot as hell.

Is that a real replica or a homemade Monterey Strat? Either way it's nice! |
It's a replica, my sister made it. It's a MIJ 60's Strat with texas Specials, if my house burned down this would be the only thing i would get.
