Ok, so I play guitar, bass, piano and cello. I've been playing piano for about 7 years, clasically trained, but I must say I'm pretty horrible for 7 years. In fact I think my skills have declined in the past couple years, but in that time I have gained a better appreciation and understanding for musicality, dynamics, etc. Cello I've been playing since 6th grade in orchestra, so for about 4 years now, and I'm pretty bad at it too. Mostly my intonation, and again, I used to be better. I picked up guitar in, I believe the summer between 7th and 8th grade. Found a really old classical guitar in the shed in my backyard. I'd say it's my main instrument. I've been playing for about two years. And about half a year later, I picked up bass, my secondary instrument. I'm very fortunate to have picked up quite a bit of theory during my piano lessons, and coming here and seeing the Musician's Talk forum. I write stuff, which is all in my forum sig, and I'm trying to start a band.
Currently, I'm playing bass for jazz band and marching band at school, and jam with some friends pretty regularly.
